With the help of A1 Croatia’s team, CROZ has implemented the new design in Liferay DXP.

A1 Croatia is the first private mobile operator in Croatia that has been investing in innovative technologies since the very beginnings with the goal of providing customers with top-quality services. A1 Croatia has become a modern telecom with completely convergent offering by means of continued investment and strategic acquisitions. Such an approach led to their leading position in innovations in the very competitive telecom industry. Since the very beginning A1 Croatia customer base has been growing constantly and they currently have around 2 million customers.
Above all, A1 has continuously been working on improving user experience, which is why they are constantly focused on developing and improving digital channels. Special attention is directed at public web and self-care applications which allow users to promptly access relevant information and customer support, as well as manage their own services.
During the past 10 years, CROZ has been recognized as a strategic technological partner when it comes to implementing, maintaining and continuously improving A1’s online presence.
Entire on line content and applications are based on state of the art Liferay DXP technology. Over the past 10 years, experts from CROZ and A1 Croatia have implemented almost all relevant A1 web portals. Some of them are:

- Self-care apps
- Planet Sport
- A1 Intranet
The recent re-branding of VIPnet into A1 Croatia brought about many important changes and improvements. Online channels play a very important role in this context as well.
This project required a complete change of the design and contents of the public website, as well as some other important new functionalities, such as displaying content personalized to the user/visitor in order to improve user experience. A1 web is based on Liferay DXP. CROZ’s experts have helped adapt it to meet all the new requirements prompted by the re-branding project.
With the help of A1 Croatia’s team, CROZ has implemented the new design in Liferay DXP. The project included the following activities
- managing requirements
- installing and configuring Liferay DXP
- creating a Liferay theme
- creating frames and templates for inputing and displaying site content
- changes to over 40 existing portlets, as well as developing several new ones
- testing and quality assurance
By using agile methods which entail cooperation among all project stakeholders, we have managed to focus on what really creates value for the end user. To everyone’s delight, the project has been successfully completed in time.
